Everest Corporation is located over at 31 Sion Bhaudaji Road Extension, inside the Hind Rajasthan Shopping Centre. It’s been our spot for a good while now. If you know the area, you know how the traffic gets around the extension, especially during the morning rush. The office itself isn't anything fancy, just a bunch of desks and some filing cabinets that have seen better days. We handle the usual business stuff here. Most days start with someone making a pot of tea while we go through the paperwork that piled up. The shopping centre has a lot of different shops, so there is always people coming and going outside our door. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy with the construction or just the general buzz of the market, but we are used to it by now. We just focus on getting the work done and making sure things are in order. It’s a practical place to work, honestly. We don’t have those modern glass walls or anything like that. Just walls with some old calendars and a few plants that we try to remember to water. It’s where we spend most of our daylight hours, looking out at the street or talking to the folks from the neighboring units. We’ve stayed here because it’s central and everyone knows where the Hind Rajasthan building is. It feels like home to us, even with the flickering light in the hallway that never seems to get fixed. We usually head out once the shops start closing up for the evening.
