Ernst Young

We have been set up at 701 Veddarshan Chs on Rani Sati Marg for quite a while now. It is a bit of a climb to the seventh floor if the lift is acting up, which happens more than we would like. Being here in Mumbai, the humidity is always around, but we keep the windows open when the weather is decent. The street outside is usually pretty loud with rickshaws honking and people rushing toward the station. It is just a small group of us here at Ernst Young doing the daily work. We get our lunch from the little shop around the corner most days. It is not a fancy place at all. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it feels like home for us during the day. We spend a lot of time looking at files and answering the phone. Most people who stop by are locals from the Malad area. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the paperwork just piles up on the desks. It gets really busy in the afternoons before everyone heads home to beat the evening traffic. We have been at this address for a bit now and know most of the neighbors in the building. It is a cooperative society, so there are always meetings or something going on downstairs. We just focus on getting the tasks done and keeping the lights on. It is a standard office setup with old computers and some chairs that have seen better days.
