Ernst Young

We are based over at Safi Apt in Kurar Village, right in the Malad East part of Mumbai. This office is at Plot No 18, specifically in B 1. It is a busy spot because Malad is always moving. Most days, we get here early to beat the worst of the traffic, though that doesn't always work out. The building isn't fancy or anything, but it serves us well for the work we do. There are usually stacks of files on the desks and the sound of keyboards clicking all day long. Outside, the street is pretty noisy with rickshaws and people going about their business in the village area. We’ve got a few chairs for when people stop by, and a small area where we keep the kettle for tea. It gets quite warm in the afternoons, so the fans are always running at full speed. Sometimes we have to move boxes around just to find a bit of extra space to walk. It's a practical setup, nothing too flashy. We know the neighbors in the other flats, and we all just sort of get on with things. Usually, lunch is something quick from a nearby stall or brought from home. The lighting is okay, though one of the bulbs flickers a bit when it rains. We spend a lot of time looking at screens and talking through numbers. It’s just a normal workplace where everyone stays busy and gets the job done.
