You can find our office at B 10 in the Jai Rameshwaran Co-operative Society. We’re situated near Mahesh Nagar in Goregaon West, right in the heart of the action in Mumbai. The company is Ernst Young. It’s a small, practical space that we’ve used for years. Being in a co-operative society means we have a lot of neighbors, so we try to keep things professional but friendly. The office is usually packed with papers, folders, and a couple of old printers that we refuse to get rid of because they still work. We handle a lot of the basic financial work that people find confusing or time-consuming. It’s mostly tax stuff and keeping track of earnings for local businesses. Mumbai is a loud, fast city, but inside our four walls, we try to keep a steady rhythm. We aren't a big fancy firm with marble floors. We just have sturdy desks and good lighting. Most of us have been working together for quite a while now, so we know how each other likes to work. We don't use any fancy sales talk or try to impress anyone with big words. We just look at your documents and get to work. Sometimes the monsoons make getting to the office a bit of a challenge, but we almost always show up. It’s a small-town feel in a big city office, and we like it that way. We just keep doing the math until it is correct.
