Our office is located in the A Wing of Hercules Apartment, which is part of the Vasant Galaxy complex in Goregaon West. We are in unit 104, right on the lower floors. Goregaon West is a lively part of Mumbai, and being in a large complex like Vasant Galaxy means there is always something happening around us. Our workspace is pretty straightforward. We have a few desks, some filing cabinets that are getting a bit full, and our computer setups. We aren't here to impress anyone with expensive furniture or modern art. It’s just a place where we come to do our jobs, which involves a lot of financial checking and data entry. Most of us live fairly close by, so we don't have to deal with the worst of the city's commutes. The office has a bit of a lived-in feel, with some old calendars on the walls and a few plants that we sometimes forget to water. When we have visitors, they usually just sit on the chairs by the window. It’s a very grounded atmosphere. We know the security guards and the other people working in the building. It feels like we are part of the neighborhood here. We just stick to our routine, handle the paperwork, and try to keep things running smoothly. It’s a practical, no-nonsense office for a hard-working team in Maharashtra. We usually finish up by six and head home to our families.
