Being located at B-3 New Gokul Plaza inside the Thakur Compl. is quite a change from the quieter parts of the city. There are so many shops and businesses all around us here. At Endeavour Instruments Pvt.Ltd., we spend most of our time dealing with technical things. It involves a lot of sitting at workbenches and peering at very small instrument parts under bright lights. The plaza gets incredibly crowded in the late afternoons when everyone is out and about. Our unit is not particularly large, but it serves us well for what we need to do. Testing all this equipment and making sure the calibrations are right takes up almost all of our day. Sometimes the light in the back of the office flickers a bit, and we keep saying we should fix it, but we always get busy with something else. We have a couple of old desks and far too many wires running across the floor. People often wander in by mistake looking for the shoe shop next door, and we just point them in the right direction. It is a fairly quiet life inside our unit compared to the noise of the complex. We drink a lot of strong tea to stay focused on the fine details. The paperwork usually piles up on the corner table until Friday. We are just a small group of locals who work together in this little space.
