Emerald Foods

You’ll find Emerald Foods over at Plot No. 1001 in Dheeraj Gaurav Heights. We’re in Andheri West, right behind Main Line China. Andheri is a hectic place to be, and our corner is no different. We spend most of our time in the kitchen or handling orders. It’s a lot of movement and heat. We aren't a five-star restaurant with white tablecloths. We’re more about the food itself and getting it out to people. The building is quite tall, but we’re tucked away in our specific spot. We have a small crew and we’re always on each other’s toes. Some days the ingredients don't arrive on time and we have to scramble. That’s just the food business for you. We don't have a PR team or a fancy social media presence. We just rely on the fact that people like what we make. The area behind Main Line China is a bit of a shortcut for locals, so we see a lot of people passing through. We start early in the morning with the prep work and usually finish late at night. It’s tiring, but we’ve been doing it for long enough that it’s just our life now. We’re just a local food business trying to keep up with the pace of Andheri. It’s nothing glamorous, but it’s what we know how to do well enough.
