Eenadu Publications

Eenadu Publications is right in the middle of Lower Parel, which is a place that has changed a lot lately. We are located at Gandhi Chawk Padra in The Victoria House. If you know the area, you’ll find us on the first floor. We are situated right above the DNA office and directly opposite Bombay Dyeing, which is a big landmark that everyone uses for directions. Being in a publishing office means there is always paper everywhere and the sound of people talking or phones ringing. It’s a busy environment because news doesn’t really stop for anyone. Victoria House is an old building that has seen a lot of history, and you can feel that when you walk up the stairs. The floors are a bit uneven in places and the walls are thick. We have our desks set up in a way that lets us see what’s going on, but it’s mostly just a place of work. We don't spend money on expensive art or modern furniture. It’s more about the desks and the computers and making sure the daily work gets out on time. The traffic outside Gandhi Chawk is usually pretty bad, so we hear a lot of horns throughout the day. We just keep our heads down and stay busy with the publications. It is a solid place to work and we are right in the heart of things. We have been in this spot for years and the routine keeps us going.
