Our shop is over at 7, Nand-Deep Industrial Estate. It’s tucked away on Kondivita Lane, which is just off the main Andheri-Kurla Road. If you’ve ever driven through this part of Bombay, you know how packed the traffic gets. It’s a bit of a maze back here in the industrial estate, but we’ve been here at Edma Cut (Bombay) Pvt. Ltd. for quite some time. The building itself is an older one, typical for this area. It’s got that lived-in feel. We don't have a big flashy sign or anything, just our unit number. Working in Andheri means you’re always in the middle of everything. We have neighbors who do all sorts of different things, from printing to light engineering. It can get pretty loud during the day with all the activity in the lane, but we’ve gotten used to it. Getting deliveries in and out can be a bit of a challenge when the lane gets blocked by trucks, so we usually try to get things moved early in the morning. It’s a busy spot, but it works for us. Most of the guys here have been working in this estate for years and know everyone around. It's just a regular workplace where we do what we do. Nothing too complicated about it. We just open up in the morning and get to work.
