Our place is in the Tilak Complex, specifically C 11, over in the Borivali West area of Mumbai. It’s right near Shanti Ashram and Devki Nagar. If you know Mumbai, you know how packed and noisy Borivali can get, but we’ve found a decent spot to run Ecohomes Constructions Pvt Ltd from. Construction is a tough business to be in. There is always something going wrong, whether it's a delay with the cement delivery or a worker not showing up because of a family thing back home. We’ve seen it all over the years we've been working. This company got its start because we wanted to build things that actually last. It’s not about being fancy or using expensive materials; it’s about making sure the walls are straight and the roof doesn't leak when the heavy monsoon hits us. We spend a lot of time at job sites, getting our shoes dirty and talking to suppliers about getting better prices for our clients. The office in Tilak Complex is where we do the planning and meet with people, but the real work happens out there where the noise and the dust are. We are just regular people who know how to put a building together properly. We don’t use any of those big words some architects like to use. We just talk plain and tell you what can be done. Sometimes we make mistakes, but we always try to fix them quickly.
