Durga Textiles

Durga Textiles is located inside the Swapnasakar Cooperative Housing Society Ltd, at Plot No 87, Room No B 18, in Gorai 1, Borivali West, Mumbai 40091. It’s a bit of a different setup because we are right there in a residential building. We handle a lot of different fabrics and materials here. The room is often stacked high with rolls of cloth and half-finished orders. Because we are in a housing society, it feels more personal than a big retail store. Neighbors stop by to see what new patterns we have, and we get a lot of custom work from people living nearby in Borivali. The space is a bit tight with all the textiles, but we make it work. It’s a lot of cutting, measuring, and packing every single day. Mumbai can be so humid, so we usually have the windows open to catch any breeze from the Gorai side. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything like that. Most of our work comes from word of mouth. It's just a small business run by people who know their way around a needle and thread. We stay busy with the local demand, especially during the festival seasons when everyone wants something new. It’s a humble operation, just us working away in Room B 18 to keep things moving along for our customers.
