If you head over to Borivali East, you’ll find us in Surya Park right along the Ring Road at 3 B. We’ve been working with stones and jewelry in this spot for quite some time. It’s a small shop, but it’s filled with cases of different gems and silver work. We spend a lot of our time looking through magnifying glasses or cleaning up pieces that have gotten a bit dull. It isn't a high-end boutique with marble floors; it's a place where we actually sit and do the work. Customers come in looking for something for a wedding or maybe just a stone for a ring they’re having made. We talk to them about what they like and show them what we have in the drawers. The Ring Road can get pretty loud with all the traffic outside, but inside it’s usually quiet so we can focus. Sometimes we are busy sorting through a new batch of stones, and other times we are just waiting for the next person to walk through the door. We’ve lived in Borivali for most of our lives, so we know the people and what they are looking for. It’s a steady trade and we take pride in knowing our stones. We don’t use any big sales pitches, we just show the gems and let people decide for themselves. It’s a nice way to spend the day, working with beautiful things.
