Drumil Merchant

We operate out of J P Road, over in the Dhobi Talao area. It is a very lively part of the city to be in. Being at number 16 means we are right in the thick of everything that happens. We do a lot of trading and moving goods around for different people. It is a merchant’s life, which means dealing with various suppliers and customers all day long. The office is often cluttered with product samples and delivery notes. We don't have a fancy showroom for people to visit. It is more of a functional space where we make deals and handle the difficult logistics. J P Road is always noisy with the traffic and the people, but we actually like the energy. We have been doing this for quite some time now. Some days are slow and we just sit around drinking tea and checking the old ledgers. Other days, we don't even have time to eat a proper lunch because there is so much to ship out. We aren't interested in sounding corporate or polished. We just talk to people plainly and get the business done. Drumil Merchant is basically just us working hard and trying to keep everything organized. The space is a bit cramped with all the boxes, but it works for us. We know our neighbors and the local delivery guys who come by. If you come by Dhobi Talao, you will see how busy it is.
