If you are walking down A.K. Marg near Gowalia Tank, you’ll see Dr.N.G Mehta Dental Clinic at Shop No.2. It’s right on the ground floor of Jer Mansion, which is one of those old, solid buildings in this part of town. Being on the ground floor is handy for people who don't want to deal with lifts or stairs. We’ve been running this dental office for a long time. It’s a small shop, but we’ve got all the tools we need for teeth stuff tucked into the corners. The walls have some old posters about brushing, and the dental chair is the main thing in the room. Gowalia Tank is a busy area, so there is always some noise from the street coming through the door, but we get used to it. We see a lot of people from the neighborhood who just drop in because their tooth hurts or they need a checkup. It’s not a fancy corporate clinic. It’s just a local spot in Jer Mansion where we work. We keep our instruments clean and our appointments as on-time as we can, though things sometimes run late if a job is harder than expected. We try to make people feel okay while they are sitting in the chair, even if they are nervous. It’s just regular work for us, day in and day out. We just keep our heads down and do our best.
