Dr.Lh Hiranandani Hospital

We've been here at Hill Side Avenue for quite a few years now. The building sits right in Hiranandani Gardens, which is usually a pretty busy area. Most people around Ambedkar Nagar know where we are. We see folks coming in from all over Powai every day. The hospital is a big part of this neighborhood. Sometimes the traffic getting up the avenue is a real mess, especially in the evenings. Inside, it is just your typical hospital environment. Doctors are always walking from one room to another and the nurses stay busy at their stations. We try our best to keep things moving along smoothly. It’s not always the quietest place because there is always something going on. The way the building is set up means we all do a lot of walking every shift. We are not trying to be fancy or anything like that. We just open the doors in the morning and handle whatever medical stuff comes our way. Some days are definitely longer than others. The staff usually hangs out in the small breakroom when they get a minute to breathe. We have different floors for different things, but it all feels like one big machine. Living and working in Powai makes it easy for most of us to get here. We recognize many of the regulars who live just down the street from us. It feels like a local spot even though it’s a big building. You just get used to the sounds.
