You can find Dr Rajul R Dalal & Clinic at No. 202 in the Anjali Building. It is right by the French Bridge at Opera House. That whole Opera House area is always buzzing with activity, mostly because of the diamond trade and all the offices around there. Being in Anjali Building means we are a bit removed from the noise of the street once you get up to the second floor. The bridge is right there, and you can see the traffic crawling along if you look out the window at the right time. The clinic itself is quite an established spot. It doesn't have that "brand new" smell anymore, which I think is a good thing. It feels more comfortable that way. We have the usual setup with a waiting area and the consultation room. The chairs are comfortable enough, and there are always some old magazines lying around for people to flip through. We don't try to impress anyone with fancy lighting or modern art. It’s just a place where medical work gets done. Sometimes the elevator in the building is a bit slow, so some people prefer to take the stairs. It is just one of those quirks of being in an older building in a historic part of Mumbai. We spend our days meeting people from all walks of life who come in for their checkups. It is steady work in a very lively neighborhood.
