Dr Preeti Jha’s Balaji Clinic is located at Shop No 1 in Ramas Tower, right on S N Road in Tambe Nagar, Mulund West. It’s a ground-floor shop, which makes it very easy for anyone to just walk in off the street without dealing with stairs or elevators. The area around Tambe Nagar is quite busy, so there’s a lot of foot traffic and noise passing by our door every day. Inside, the clinic is fairly simple and unpretentious. We have a small desk for registration and a few rows of seating for patients to wait their turn. Dr Preeti Jha sees people for all kinds of general health problems and checkups. We’ve been in Ramas Tower for a good period now, and most of the neighbors know us by name and stop by to say hello. It’s not a place for flashy equipment or high-end interiors; it’s just a clean, functional space where medical work happens. We keep a paper log of who comes in and try to answer the phone whenever we aren't busy with a patient. Sometimes we’re a bit understaffed and things take a little longer than we’d like, but we do our best to get to everyone fairly. People seem to appreciate that they can just stop by while they’re out running errands or shopping in Mulund West. It’s a local clinic run by local people who understand the neighborhood, and we like to keep things very down-to-earth.
