Our place is right on Dr. D. N. Road, which is a very busy part of the city. We are in Lawrence & Mayo House, number 274. It’s an old building with a lot of character, though it shows its age in places. Being near City Bank makes it easy for people to find us, even if they aren't looking specifically for the address. The street outside is always packed with people walking to work or tourists looking at the old architecture. Inside, the ceilings are high and it feels a bit cooler than it does on the sidewalk. We do our daily work here, mostly focusing on the administrative side of the business and seeing clients who drop in. It’s not a quiet office because the city sounds come right through the windows. You can hear the buses and the honking constantly. We have old wooden desks and some cupboards that have been here as long as anyone can remember. It’s a bit of a maze once you get inside. We don’t have a lot of modern decorations. It’s more about the history of the building and just getting through the tasks of the day. Sometimes we grab a quick snack from the street vendors outside when we have a busy afternoon. It’s a classic Mumbai workspace, a bit crowded and very active, but it suits what we do perfectly well. There is always someone coming or going through the heavy front doors.
