Dr Am Vaze

The practice of Dr. Am Vaze is located at Kemps Corner. It’s a very well-known intersection in South Mumbai. The building itself has been there for a long time and has that sturdy, old-world feel. We are right in the middle of all the noise and traffic of the city. Inside the clinic, things are a bit more subdued, though you can still hear the faint sound of horns from the flyover. The waiting room is small and usually has a few patients sitting on the wooden benches. We have some old health posters on the walls and a desk where we keep all the patient records. Most of our files are kept in large folders because we haven't fully moved everything to the computer yet. It’s a very practical and functional space. Dr. Vaze has been seeing people here for quite a while. The consultation room has a large desk and the usual medical tools you would expect. It’s not a high-tech facility with glowing screens everywhere. It’s more of a traditional doctor’s office. We have a small window that looks out onto the street, but we usually keep the curtains drawn to keep it cool. The staff here is just a few of us who have worked together for years. We know the regular patients and their families. It is a steady, quiet kind of work that we do every day. Sometimes it feels like the whole city is right on our doorstep, but we just manage it fine.
