Dg Creative Services

If you are in Andheri West, you might come across Dg Creative Services over at A7 Hiramani on Dadabhai Cross Road 2. Mumbai is always moving and this area is no different. The street outside is usually lined with parked cars and there is a lot of noise from the nearby shops. Our office is on the ground floor, which makes it easy to pop in and out. We have a few large tables where we keep our equipment and there are sketches and notes pinned up on the walls everywhere. It is a bit disorganized if you are looking at it from the outside, but we know where everything is. The light from the street comes in through the front window, though we have to keep the blinds half-closed because of the glare on the screens. We have an old rug in the middle of the floor that is starting to fray at the edges. There is a small fridge in the corner for cold water and snacks. Most days are spent sitting around the tables talking through ideas or just typing away. It gets really humid during the monsoon, and the walls sometimes feel a bit damp. We have lived and worked in Andheri for years, so we are used to the rhythm of the city and the way the traffic sounds at night. It is a humble space but it is where we do everything.
