Devang Desai

This is the office for Devang Desai, located right in Borivali West on S V Road. We are up on the fifth floor, room 503 in the Sumer Nagar building. If you know this part of Mumbai, you know how loud and crowded S V Road can be. Sometimes the traffic downstairs is so bad you can hear the horns all the way up here. I’ve been working from this spot for quite a bit of time now. The office is a simple setup with a couple of desks, some old filing cabinets, and a computer that’s seen better days. It isn’t much to look at, but it gets the job done. I usually get in early before the building gets too noisy. Most of my day is spent on the phone or going through papers. My neighbors in the building are mostly other small businesses, so we all kind of know each other's faces from the lift. There’s no receptionist or anything, so if the door is shut, I’m probably out at a meeting or just grabbed a quick bite from the stalls near the station. It’s a practical place to work because everything is close by, even if it’s a bit cramped. I don't really go for anything flashy. I just keep my head down and handle whatever comes across my desk. It’s been home base for me for years, and I don't see that changing anytime soon.
