Design Drift

Design Drift is tucked away in the Adarsh Co Op Society on Grant Road, specifically at 603. It’s more of a home office situation than a storefront. Since we are in an apartment building, it’s fairly quiet compared to the main road outside. Ali is the area people usually know us by. We started this because we wanted to work on projects without the overhead of a big commercial space. The living room serves as the main workspace. You’ll see a lot of monitors and tangled cords if you ever walk in. It’s not the most organized place, but we know where everything is. We spend a lot of time on the computer, just figuring out designs and how things fit together. Sometimes the neighbors pop by for a chat, which is nice. We don't have a receptionist, so if the phone rings, one of us just picks it up between tasks. Grant Road is always busy, so we like the peace we get up here in the society. It’s a simple life. We work, we eat, and we try to finish the drawings on time. We don't do much advertising. People usually just hear about us from someone else in the building or nearby. It’s a small operation, and we like it that way. No stress, just steady work. We just keep our heads down and get through the pile of work on our desks.
