Depature Controller

We are set up over at B 3 in Janta Colony, right near the Lord Shiv Temple in Gandhi Nagar, Jogeshwari East. Being a Depature Controller in Mumbai means you have to be ready for things to move fast. Our office is just a simple room where we keep track of when things are supposed to leave. We spend a lot of time checking the clock and making sure the schedules are being followed. Gandhi Nagar is a crowded place, and being near the temple means there are always people walking around and a lot of bells ringing, which we’ve just become used to over time. We don't have any big corporate office with glass walls or fancy carpets. It’s just us with our clipboards and phones, trying to stay ahead of the traffic and the delays that always happen in a city like this. It takes a lot of patience to keep everything on time, and sometimes it feels like we are fighting against the clock all day long. We just focus on the task at hand and try to be as practical as possible. People know us as the ones who are always looking at their watches. It’s an honest job that keeps the city moving, even if most people don’t realize we are here in this small building near the temple doing the work. We just stay here, watch the time, and keep everything on schedule.
