Dental & Maxillofacial Clinic

We are located on the first floor of the Aderbad building on Hughes Road. It’s an older building with a lot of character, and you have to come up the stairs to find the Dental & Maxillofacial Clinic. Being on Hughes Road means we are right in the thick of things, with lots of cars and people passing by outside all day long. The clinic itself is a bit specialized, so we deal with jaw issues and facial stuff along with regular dental work. The rooms are a decent size, and we have some heavy-duty equipment for the more complicated procedures we do. The paint in the hallway is peeling a little bit near the ceiling, but the actual treatment rooms are kept very tidy. We have a small staff here, and we’ve all been working together long enough to know how to manage the schedule. Sometimes the surgeries take longer than expected, so the waiting room gets a bit cramped. We have an old clock on the wall that ticks quite loudly when the room is quiet. Most of our patients come to us because of the specific jaw work we do, so they often travel from other parts of the city. We spend our days looking at X-rays and talking through plans with people sitting in our chairs. It’s a lot of focused work, but we take breaks to look out at the street below when we can.
