Delicious

Delicious is our shop in Chembur, located at Building No. 33, Shop No 5. We are right on the Danayanda Sagar College Main Road, so we see a lot of students passing by every single day. The area near the college is always lively, which makes the day go by faster. We usually have the radio playing in the background while we work. It is a basic shop layout, nothing too complicated. We spend a lot of time stocking the shelves and making sure everything looks okay. The Ti area of Chembur has changed a bit over the years, but we’ve stayed right here in this building. Sometimes the college kids come in all at once, and it gets a bit loud, but we do not mind the energy. The lights in the back flickered for a week before we finally got the guy to fix them. We do not have a big marketing team or anything like that. It is just us behind the counter. We keep the place open until late evening when the street finally starts to quiet down. It is a lot of standing on your feet, but that is just how the job is. We try to keep the windows clean so people can see inside, though the dust from the road makes it hard. We keep a notebook to write down what we need to buy for the next day. It is just a simple, everyday shop that serves the local neighborhood.
