Deepak Chang

So, I’m located over in Chembur East, specifically in the number 4 area. It’s a part of Mumbai that feels like its own little world sometimes. My name is Deepak Chang and I’ve been operating from this spot for a while now. The space is small, but it works for what I need to do every day. Mumbai life is always fast, but around here in Chembur, you get used to the rhythm of the local trains and the traffic. I usually get in pretty early to beat the worst of the humidity. There isn't much to say about the office itself, it's just a desk, some chairs, and a lot of things I need to keep track of. I don’t really believe in having a big, polished front for the business. I just prefer to keep things simple and honest. Most of the people I deal with are local or they’ve heard about me through word of mouth. It’s better that way because you get to know the people you’re actually talking to. Sometimes the rain makes it hard to get much done, but we manage. I’ve lived in this city my whole life, so the noise doesn't bother me anymore. It’s just home. I keep the door open when the weather is nice, and you can hear the kids playing or people arguing about the price of vegetables nearby. It’s just regular life for me.
