Data In Puter

Data In Puter is based out of Santacruz East in Mumbai. To be honest, it’s not the easiest place to find if you aren't familiar with the D Mello Compound. We are at 1 9 Hafizabai Chawl on Datta Mandir Road. It’s a very local, busy area with a lot of people moving around all the time. The chawl life is what it is—it’s tight, it’s loud, and there is always something going on outside the door. We handle data entry and other computer tasks from this small space. It’s a bit cramped with all the equipment and wires, but we’ve made it work for a long time now. The humidity in Mumbai can be tough on the machines, so we have to be careful about that. We aren't some big tech firm in a skyscraper; we are just a local operation in the heart of the 400055 zip code. Most of our day is spent typing and double-checking numbers. The noise from Datta Mandir Road is constant, with rickshaws and people walking by, but it gives the place energy. We like being in Santacruz because it’s central for us. People who come to see us usually know the landmarks nearby. It’s a humble setup, but we get the work done. No frills, no fancy decorations, just a place to sit and work.
