Dacunha Communications Pvt Ltd is tucked away in the Fort area. We are on the 4th floor of Elysium Mansion, which is right by Electric House. If you’re looking for us, the easiest way is to find the big Bata showroom nearby and just head toward the old building entrance from there. It’s one of those classic structures with high ceilings and a lot of character, but the stairs can be a workout if you aren’t used to them. Being in this part of town means there is always something going on outside. The sounds of buses and people shouting for taxis come right through the windows. Inside, it’s a bit of a maze with desks pushed together and stacks of papers everywhere. We do a lot of talking and sketching out ideas on whatever scraps we can find. It isn't a polished corporate environment. There’s usually someone complaining about the internet or looking for a stapler that went missing. We’ve been here a long time, so the walls have a lot of history on them, mostly in the form of old posters and faded marks. Lunch usually involves someone going out to get snacks for the whole group. It’s a busy, somewhat chaotic place to spend the day, but it feels like home to us. We just try to stay on top of the work while dealing with the usual city distractions and the heat.
