Our electrical shop is located at number 1 on Ramkuvar Thakur Road in Dahisar. It’s a small place, and it’s usually overflowing with rolls of wire, light bulbs, and all sorts of switches. We’ve been here for a while, and most of the local residents know us by name. Electrical work is mostly about solving problems. Someone’s lights go out or a socket starts sparking, and they come running to us. We also go out to houses to do the wiring for new rooms or to fix old circuits that have seen better days. It can be dangerous work if you don't know what you are doing, so we take our time to do it right. We don't have a fancy display area. Instead, our shelves are just full of parts that we know are reliable. We aren't interested in selling people things they don't need. If a simple fuse will fix the problem, that is what we tell them. The shop gets a bit dusty because of all the boxes, but we know where everything is kept. Dahisar is a busy neighborhood, and there is always something needing repair. We use basic tools and a lot of common sense to get the job done. Sometimes we have to crawl into tight attic spaces or deal with messy old wiring, but it’s just part of being an electrician. We are just happy to keep the lights on for our neighbors.
