Cyclone Graphics

Cyclone Graphics is tucked away in Room 30 on the first floor of Shah Niwa, over in Mulund West. It’s a bit of a climb up the stairs, and the building has been around for a long time. We’ve got our design gear set up in this one room, which gets a little tight when all of us are in there at the same time. There are always sketches and printouts pinned to the walls. We do a lot of graphics work, so we spend most of our time staring at big monitors and trying to get the colors just right. It’s not a fancy studio with mood lighting or anything like that. It’s just a practical room where we can focus on the creative side of things. Mulund is a nice area, and we like being here because it’s close to a lot of other small businesses. Sometimes we hear the noise from the street below, but it’s easy to tune out once you get into the work. We’ve had some of the same equipment for years, but it still does the job. Most of our clients are local folks who need something designed for their shops or small companies. We don't have a big sales team, just ourselves answering the phone and doing the drawing. It’s a quiet way to work, and we like the independence of having our own little spot in Shah Niwas.
