Cushman Wakefield

We have been operating out of Hawa Manzil for a while now. It is an old building, number 148, right in the heart of Mumbai. Most days are pretty loud with the traffic outside, but you get used to it after a week or two. The office itself isn't fancy. It’s mostly just desks, a few old filing cabinets, and a coffee machine that works when it feels like it. People come in and out all day looking for help with property stuff or just to ask questions about the local area. We try to keep things organized, though paperwork has a way of piling up on the main table. There is a small tea stall just down the road where everyone goes around four o'clock. It’s a good spot to catch a break. Mumbai can be a bit overwhelming, but being here in this specific spot makes it feel a bit more manageable. We handle a lot of the day-to-day tasks that come with managing buildings and spaces around the city. It’s not always glamorous work. Sometimes it’s just answering emails for hours or making phone calls to check on a site. We don't have a big reception area or anything like that. You just walk in and someone is usually there to say hello. It’s just us doing what we do every day without much fuss. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but for now, it works fine for what we need.
