Our office for Cosmos Construction is listed at Kmuser2 Ncdexcom. It’s an unusual address on paper, but this is where the planning happens. Construction is a messy business, and our workspace reflects that. There are blueprints rolled up in corners and samples of materials sitting on the windowsills. We spend our days looking at project timelines and talking to suppliers. It’s not a corporate headquarters with a receptionist; it’s more of a home base for the crew. We are usually out on-site, but when we are here, we’re mostly catching up on the boring parts like billing and permits. The walls are a bit bare, and the furniture is mostly stuff we’ve gathered over the years. We aren't worried about the decor because the real work is out there in the dirt and the steel. It’s a local operation, and we know the people we work with. People around here just call us when they need something built or fixed. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that. It’s just us and the tools. Some days are long, starting before the sun is up, and ending with us just trying to get the dust off our boots before we go inside. It’s hard work, but it’s what we know how to do. We just keep our heads down and stay busy with the next project. We focus on the bricks and mortar rather than the office appearance. It’s just how things go at Cosmos Construction.
