Our setup for Coolwell Engineers is over in the Fort area. Fort is one of those places that feels like the old heart of the city with all the stone buildings and narrow lanes. We don't have a massive office, just a small place where we keep our tools and coordinate our engineering jobs. Most of our work happens out at various sites, so the office is often empty during the day except for one or two people handling the phones. It’s a busy district and finding parking is always a nightmare, so we usually just take the train or walk. The building we are in has high ceilings and those big windows that let in a lot of dust from the street. We’ve been working out of Fort for quite a while now. We deal with cooling systems and mechanical repairs, so there’s always someone coming in with a part that needs looking at. The air in the office is usually okay because we know how to keep it comfortable. We don't spend much on decorating the place; it’s mostly just desks and a lot of technical manuals. We get our tea from the stall on the corner and usually eat lunch at our desks while we catch up on paperwork. It’s a very practical way to run things. The pace in Fort is fast, but we’ve learned to keep up with it without making any fuss about the heat or the noise.
