Consulting Eye Surgeon

Our office is tucked away in Bandra West, right here in Mumbai. If you know the 400050 area, you know how busy it gets with all the cars and people walking around. We have been here for a while now, just doing our thing and helping folks see a bit better. It is not some huge corporate hospital; it is more like a small local clinic where we get to know the people who walk through the door. Usually, it is just me and the staff checking prescriptions or looking at someone’s cataracts. Some days are really quiet and we just sit around drinking tea between patients, but other days the waiting room is packed and things feel a bit frantic. We try to keep it simple. There is no fancy lobby or anything, just some chairs and the equipment we need to do the job. People usually find us because they live nearby or someone told them we were okay. It is a lot of looking into bright lights and asking people which lens looks clearer, one or two. That is pretty much the life here. We like the neighborhood even with all the noise outside. It feels like home after all these years of working in Bandra. We just open up in the morning, see who needs help, and go from there. It is a steady routine of eye exams and talking to patients about their vision.
