Consultant

We’re based at Consultant, which is located in C 606, Oberoi Woods. This is on Ciba Road in Goregaon East, Mumbai. The pincode is 400 063. Being in a place like Oberoi Woods is nice because it’s a bit more organized than some other parts of the city. We’re up on the sixth floor of the C wing. The view out the window is mostly of other buildings and some trees in the complex. It’s a decent enough place to spend the day. The office isn’t huge, but we make it work for the four of us. We’ve got a couple of cabins and a common area where we sit and go through documents. Mumbai is always loud, but being up here, the noise is a bit muffled. We still hear the horns occasionally, though it's not too bad. We’ve got a small pantry area for making tea and coffee, which is where we usually end up talking about things that aren’t work-related during our breaks. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed. We don't wear suits or anything like that unless there’s a specific reason. Most days it’s just jeans and shirts. We’ve got some files stacked up in the corner because we ran out of shelf space last month. We really should get another shelf when we have time. It’s a functional space where we get things done without much fuss. Goregaon East is a busy area, but our little corner feels like its own world.
