Clinic International

Our place is in the Trade World building, B Wing, inside the Kamla Mill Compound. It is right on Senapati Bapat Marg in Lower Parel. This area is always moving and changing. There are so many offices and people around here every day. We are up in the building, so you have to go through the main gate and find the right wing. It’s a bit of a maze if you haven't been here before. Inside the clinic, it’s mostly white walls and medical files. We handle a lot of international-related clinic work. The air conditioning is always on because the glass buildings get so hot in the Mumbai sun. We spend most of the day at our desks or in the exam rooms. You can see the other buildings from our windows. It’s a different vibe than a street clinic. It’s more about the office routine. We have a small pantry where we make coffee. Most of our visitors are people working in the nearby corporate offices. We keep things professional but it’s still just a regular group of people working here. Sometimes the elevators are crowded during lunch hour, so we just stay in and eat. It’s a solid place to work. Lower Parel has changed a lot, but we just keep doing what we do every day. We check the schedules and make sure everything is ready for the next person who walks in.
