Clinic Health Care Centre

We are up on the 7th floor of the Chitra Nofra building over at Plot No 7D in Colaba. It is quite a way up, and the lift can be a bit temperamental sometimes, so some people end up taking the stairs, which is a lot of exercise. Being near the R C Church means we get to hear the sounds of the neighborhood from a bit of a distance. Up here, it’s a bit quieter than down on the street level. The office has a lot of windows, so you can see out over the rooftops of Colaba if you stand in the right spot. We have a few desks and some equipment tucked away in the back rooms. It’s not a very large space, but we make it work for everyone who comes by. Most of our visitors are people who live right here in the colony or work nearby. We spend our mornings setting things up and our afternoons catching up on paperwork. The floor is that old tile that stays cool even in the summer heat. We don't have fancy decorations, just some old calendars on the walls and some magazines that are probably out of date. It’s just a regular place where we show up every morning, open the windows to let the breeze in, and wait for the first knock on the door. It’s a peaceful spot despite being right in the middle of everything in Colaba, and we like the view we get from this height.
