Classic Marble Impex Pvt Ltd is found in Mumbai Central at F 360 on the 5th floor of the RBI Officers Quarters. It is right on Maratha Mandir Marg, which is a very busy stretch of the city. Being located in the officers' quarters means the building is a bit more regulated and quiet compared to the street outside. We are up on the fifth floor, so we get to see all the madness of the traffic and the people down below. Mumbai Central is always on the move, and you can hear the trains and the horns almost all the time. We deal in marble, so we usually have different stone samples and catalogs lying around the office. The lift in the building can be a bit slow sometimes, but that is just how it goes in older Mumbai buildings. The office itself is a bit tight because we have so many files and pieces of stone everywhere, but we make it work just fine. We are quite close to the Maratha Mandir cinema, which is a major landmark that everyone knows. Most of our day is spent talking to suppliers on the phone or checking on shipments that are coming into the port. It is a busy environment and we don't have space for anything fancy. It’s just a real, working Mumbai office where we focus on the stone business and keep the day moving forward.
