Citibank

We are located in Building Number 24 of the Worli BDD Chawls. It’s an old part of Mumbai, and you can really feel the history of the city when you walk through the area. Our office at number 58 is a humble space, far from the gleaming skyscrapers you see in other parts of Worli. Here at Citibank, we keep things very grounded. The building has seen better days, but it’s sturdy and it gets the job done for us. There is always a lot of activity in the colony, with kids playing outside and people going about their daily business, so it never feels lonely. Inside, we’ve got our desks set up as best as we can to fit the space. It’s not a wide-open floor plan or anything like that. It’s more like a series of small rooms where we handle different tasks. The fans hum all day long to keep the air moving because it can get quite humid in the afternoon. We don’t use any of those fancy corporate words to describe what we do. We just come in, check the records, and help out wherever it’s needed. The local tea stall is just a few steps away, and they probably make the best ginger tea in the whole district. It’s just a normal workplace with people who’ve been around for years. We don't mind the noise much because it feels like home to most of us who work here.
