Chocktails

Chocktails is located over in Budhwar Park, right near the Colaba Post Office area at Charkop. We’ve been at this spot, F-75, for quite some time now. It’s a bit of a weird name, we know, but it stuck after a joke one evening. We mostly do drinks and some snacks. The space isn’t huge, but we make it work. Most of our days are spent mixing things and making sure the fridge is cold enough. Colaba is always moving, so we get a lot of foot traffic from people just wandering around the park area. We aren't some high-end lounge with a dress code. You can just walk in off the street. We’ve got some regulars who come in every single afternoon for the same thing. It’s funny how people have their routines. We keep the place running with just a couple of staff members. Sometimes we’re a bit slow when the lunch rush hits all at once, but people are usually patient. We don't use any fancy machinery or anything. It's mostly hand-mixed stuff. The building is older, so we’re always fixing something, like a leaky tap or a creaky door. It gives the place some character, I guess. We like being here. It’s a good corner of the city and we’ve seen a lot of changes over the years, but we’re still here doing our thing. The park is nice to look at while we work.
