Chetan Granite & Marble Pvt Ltd is located at N-10 in Parel, on Dr Vb Gandhi Road. We are situated within the Gautam Chemical Compound, which is near Patil Road. This is a very industrial part of Parel. Our yard is filled with large slabs of stone, granite, and marble leaning against the heavy iron frames. It is a dusty place because of all the cutting and polishing that happens nearby. You definitely need sturdy shoes if you are walking around here. The office is a small cabin located right at the edge of the compound. Inside, there are samples of different stones everywhere, used as paperweights or just leaning against the walls. We spend our time talking to contractors and showing people the different patterns in the marble. The noise from the surrounding compound is quite loud, with trucks constantly moving in and out to deliver chemicals or stone. Parel traffic is always a headache, so we usually try to get our big deliveries out very early in the morning. There is nothing fancy about our setup. It is a place of heavy lifting and hard work. The staff is usually covered in a bit of stone dust by the end of the shift. We just have a few fans to keep the air moving and a basic desk where we keep track of the inventory. It is a gritty, real-world business.
