Chetan Dedhia

My workspace is located in Sudarshan Appartment, right in the Ram Nagar area of Chembur. It’s a bit of an interesting location because we’re also close to the Bajsons Industrial Estate on Chakala Road. This means I get a mix of neighbors, from families living in the apartments to people running small factories nearby. I’ve lived and worked around this part of Chembur for a long time, so I’ve seen the roads get busier and the buildings get taller. My office isn't anything special, just a quiet room with a big desk, a computer, and way too many notebooks. I spend most of my day here, either on the phone or going through documents. It’s a one-man show for the most part, so I handle everything from answering the door to filing the taxes. Sometimes I take a walk down Chakala Road just to stretch my legs and grab a snack from one of the local stalls. People in Ram Nagar are friendly, and I often end up chatting with someone for twenty minutes when I was only supposed to be out for five. I don't go in for big advertisements or fancy business titles. I just do my work honestly and try to help the people who come to me for advice or services. It’s a steady life, and being based in Sudarshan Appartment gives me a nice sense of belonging to the local community. I just take things as they come and keep moving forward.
