Chaudhary Marble House

We are located right on the 1St Main Road in Malad West, just across from the Shivaji Raje Complex. If you are looking for 91/18/18, that is us. The shop stays quite cool because of all the stone inside. Mostly, it is just stacks of marble and tiles everywhere you look. It can get a bit noisy with the traffic on the main road, and the dust from the stone is something we just live with. I spend a lot of time moving pieces around so people can see the patterns. It is heavy work. Sometimes the delivery trucks block the entrance for a minute, but they move quickly enough. We have been in this spot for some time now. People usually come in with measurements scribbled on scraps of paper. I help them look through what we have in the yard and the indoor space. It is not a showroom with fancy lights, just a place where the stone is kept until someone needs it for their floor or kitchen. The floor is always a bit white from the marble dust. I sit at the small desk near the front when it is quiet. It is a straightforward business. We show you the slabs, you pick what you like, and we figure out the rest. Being opposite the complex makes it easy for people to find us. I will usually be here from morning until the sun goes down.
