We are based in Rukhmani Niwas, right on the corner of Bapat Marg and Dr Rajkumar Road. It is a fairly quiet spot for an advertising place, which actually helps when we are trying to think of new ideas for a project. The office isn't one of those fancy agencies you see on television with beanbag chairs and pool tables. It is just a regular room with some drafting tables and a couple of computers. We spend a lot of time sketching things out by hand or looking at various color samples on the wall. Sometimes we get stuck on a design and have to take a walk down Bapat Marg just to clear our heads for a bit. People come to us when they need a sign made or a flyer put together for their local business in the neighborhood. We handle the printing and the layout, trying to make things look decent without making it too expensive. The walls of the office are covered in old projects and clippings that we liked over the years. It is a bit cluttered, but we know where everything is kept. My desk is usually covered in pens and scraps of paper by the afternoon. We work long hours when a deadline is coming up, but that is just the way it goes in this line of work. It is a small team here, so everyone does a bit of everything, from answering the door to final proofing.
