Central Advertising Agency

Our office is right at number 8 in Ganesh Bhavan, which is practically across from the Mahim Railway Station. It’s incredibly loud because of the trains coming in and the huge crowds of people rushing to catch them. You can hear the announcements from the platform if the windows are open. Central Advertising Agency has been in this spot for a while. It’s a tight space but we make it work for us. There are always people dropping by, sometimes just to ask for directions because we are so close to the station. We deal with a lot of papers and files every day. The walls are covered with old calendars and notes we’ve pinned up over the months. It’s not a fancy agency like you see on television. We don’t have an open-plan office with bean bags or colorful sofas. It’s just wooden desks and old chairs that creak a bit when you sit down. Mahim is a busy neighborhood with a lot of character and good food. We usually grab snacks from the street vendors outside during the evening rush. Sometimes the traffic on the road out front gets so bad it’s faster to just walk to the station. We stay busy with whatever work comes in. Some clients have been with us for years. It’s a small-scale operation, but it keeps us on our toes. The rain can be a problem sometimes, but we just manage.
