Capgemini

We are Capgemini and we work out of the Dreams Apartment in Bhandup West, Mumbai. Our specific unit is 1204 1 B. It’s a bit of an interesting spot for an office since it’s in an apartment building, but it works for us. Being in Bhandup West means you are right in the thick of Mumbai life. The sounds of the city come up even to the 12th floor. We have a good view of the surrounding area from up here. The apartment has been converted into a workspace where we have our computers set up. It’s a bit cozy, but it gets the job done. We don't have a big lobby or a security desk just for us. You just come up the elevator like anyone else. Most of our days are spent at our desks. Capgemini here is a small team and we know each other well. We eat lunch together and complain about the rain when the monsoon hits. It’s a very grounded way to work. There’s no corporate polish here. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, and the furniture is just standard stuff we bought when we moved in. It’s a real place for real people. We like being in Dreams Apartment because it feels like we are part of the actual community, not just tucked away in a sterile office park. It is a bit loud but it's home.
