Capgemini Consulting

Working in Sector 9 of Sankeshwar is a bit different from being in the big cities. We are located in Karnataka, and things here move a bit more slowly, which we actually like. We are a branch of Capgemini Consulting, but we feel more like a local shop. Our office is a simple space where we handle all sorts of business queries and planning tasks. We don't have many employees here, so we all end up doing a bit of everything. One day you might be filing papers, and the next you're helping a client with a big financial plan. We don't have a fancy lobby or a receptionist. If the door is open, you just walk in. The building is older, but it’s sturdy and keeps the sun out during the hot afternoons. We use simple English and try to make sure everyone understands what we’re doing. There’s no point in making things more complicated than they need to be. Most of us live nearby, so we know the area well. We like the fact that we can do high-level consulting work without needing to be in a crowded skyscraper. It’s just us, our computers, and our notebooks. We focus on the work at hand and don't worry too much about the rest. It’s a quiet but productive way to spend the week.
