Capgemini Consulting

Working out of Bhandup in Mumbai is always a bit of an adventure. The pace here is fast, and the noise from the streets usually finds its way into the office. We are a branch of Capgemini Consulting, but it feels more like a small local team just trying to get things right. Most of the morning is spent checking emails and coordinating with different departments. We handle a lot of the consulting side of things, which involves plenty of phone calls and spreadsheets. The space is a bit cramped, as you’d expect in this part of Mumbai, but we make it work. Lunch is usually a quick affair because there is always something urgent coming up. We don’t really do big speeches or fancy presentations here. It’s more about sitting down and solving the problem in front of us. Most of us have been working in this area for a while, so we know the local spots for a good snack. Sometimes the rain makes the commute a nightmare, but we still show up. It’s a busy life, but it’s what we do. We aren't trying to change the world; we just want to make sure our clients get the right advice and their paperwork is in order. It's honest work and keeps us occupied from Monday to Friday. Sometimes even Saturdays if the workload gets too heavy. We just focus on the basics and keep going.
