Bubere Associates

Our little office for Bubere Associates is located in the Daswani CHS building, specifically at B 3, in the 4 Bungalows area of Andheri West. If you know Mumbai, you know that Andheri West is always moving at a million miles an hour. 4 Bungalows is no different; it’s crowded, noisy, and full of life. Being in a CHS, or a cooperative housing society, means our office is right next to where people actually live. You can hear the sounds of families and the smell of cooking coming from the other units. Our space at B 3 is small and a bit cramped because we have so many files and old records stacked up everywhere. The building itself has seen better days, and the stairs can be a bit slippery when the monsoon rain blows in through the open corridors. We don’t have a fancy air conditioning system that works all the time, so we rely on the old fans to keep us cool while we work. It’s a very grounded place. We know the local tea seller and the guy at the stationary shop around the corner. We don't try to look like a big corporate firm with glass partitions. It’s just a group of us at Bubere Associates trying to get through the daily workload in the middle of all the Mumbai chaos. It’s messy, it’s loud, but it’s where we’ve been for years, and it works for us. We just keep our heads down and do the work.
