Gulmohur Stones

You can find us at Shop No. 04 in the Siddharth Apartment, right near the Neelam Pride Hotel in Gorai 2, Borivali West. It’s a decent-sized shop for the area, and we have a lot of stone samples set out so people can see them. We focus on stones for flooring and counters, mostly. The area around here is pretty residential, so we get a lot of neighbors coming in when they’re renovating their bathrooms or kitchens. We don’t use any big marketing slogans or try to act like we’re something we aren't. We’re just a local shop selling stone. Some days it’s quiet and we just sit and drink tea, and other days it’s so busy we don’t have time to eat. We have some heavy slabs outside and smaller pieces inside the shop. Moving them around is hard on the back, but you get used to it. The Neelam Pride Hotel is the best landmark to use if you’re trying to find us for the first time. We’ve had this shop for several years now and have seen a lot of families move into the apartments nearby. We try to be helpful when people ask questions about which stone is easier to clean or which one won't stain as much. It’s just us here, no big corporate office or anything like that. Just a simple shop in Borivali with a lot of heavy rocks.
